Welcome to another corner of my garden. Since I wrote this, we've cleared some leaves, dug up a rose bush just out of the picture, created a leaf mesh, weeded, created a bed for veg, cut back some brambles and pruned those big leaves a bit. I hope to plant something in it soon. We're thinking runner beans, tomatoes, courgettes and radishes. What else? Any ideas? Chard too!
When I put on this Chambray dress (charity shopped last year or two years ago), I couldn't resist adding my Texas Sheriff brooch I found in Re Corbridge (99p!) and a bit of a Stetson!
That's my gun just out of shut! Howdy, partner!
If you want to see the brooch up close, you'll have to come back for 5 brooches!!!
Oh, and have you entered my 11th Blogiversary giveaway yet? If not, you are still ordered by order of the sheriff,to go and read it!!! There be wisdom there and there might even be your name!!

You have been busy in the garden! I'd grow something sweet - raspberries or strawberries, you can't beat eat sun warmed fruit freshly picked from the bush.
ReplyDeleteHello nice to meet you in your lovely and interesting blog!!Nice The Sherif brooches!!You have a big garden and I m sure you plant soon a lot of vegetables!!Kiss
ReplyDeleteThe dress looks fab! The brooch and the hat are funny, it's a really cute outfit. xx
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute outfit. Love the shiny shoes!
ReplyDeleteI love the dress! You always look amazing!
ReplyDeleteWow,all those vegetables you want to plant sound fab. I'm sure I would just kill them though.
Funny badge, Kezzie!
ReplyDeleteLook at you go! You have done a lot in the garden!
I'd second strawberries. Wilkinson's had strawb plants at 50p the other day, but I couldn't have carried them all as I had other errands to run so I'm hopeful they'll still be there this weekend.
ReplyDeleteWow, it looks so nice there over in England! We're having just awful weather here in the States. It's supposed to snow 3-4 inches! In April! Aye...
ReplyDeleteWanted to wish you a very happy 11th blog anniversary, as well! What a huge accomplishment not many can say they've achieved. You've always been there for me through my six years of blogging and your comments and encouragements are always a joy to receive. I wish you 11 more years of blogging, Kezzie! <3
You're doing a great job with your garden. You should see mine, which is an absolute disaster. That Chambray dress is great, and I love how you styled it. xxx
ReplyDeleteDear Kezzie, I am a bit away, because I was so jet lagged :) And doing things that required my attention, but as usual, here I am again :) I loved the garden and the ideas of things to plant! I guess you have basil in a vase? I am not, or was not, such a fan of planting, but now I have basil in a vase and I am loving it, so I recommend :) You look lovely with the chambray dress, I love chambray, and the brooch is equally lovely! I hope you have a very nice weekend, Kezzie!

Love this - the addition of the stetson and the brooch is brilliant - got me thinking of the Eleventh Doctor with his cowboy hat on! I sent you a quick email yesterday - I've lost your new address so can't post your letter out yet! - Tasha
ReplyDeleteKezzie, I just love the hat ... it suits you.
ReplyDeletePlanting out runner beans, tomatoes, courgettes and radishes, excellent idea - what about raspberries too?
Have a great weekend
All the best Jan
Loving the sheriff badge! Our careers woman at Uni genuinely yelled "howdy" in the corridors. Who does that?!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the lovely comments Kezzie - will definitely check out the link-up! :) - Tasha
ReplyDeleteI like the sheriff badge and the hat, lol. All you need is a horse. You look very comfy in that blue dress.
