 What is it?

Welcome back to my regular series where I invite you to stare at a picture of a cloud or another object which seems to resemble something or someone else other than the obvious.  I absolutely love the comments on this series so do have a go! 

This week's photo is another cloud. 

What does it remind you of? What do you see other than a cloud?

C was drinking his Singha beer in the Thai restaurant and I couldn't help but see a Frog face it in

 Namely, Sad Frog's face! (see my Summer 2024 post for who Sad Frog is)

What is it? #81

'What is it?'

For anyone who has missed the premise, this is a game where I have seen something...be it a cloud, a shape in the cream of a hot chocolate mug, or a spot of mould which I see some sort of image beyond the literal- be it character, creature, shape or something else. I post it and you have to look at it and see if you, too, see something beyond a cloud etc!

I  LOVE this series- I loved it when people saw the same as me or saw something completely different which I didn't see but suddenly see once you describe it to me! 

This time we have a cloud I saw when in a supermarket car park!

Do leave me a comment telling me what you think you see in that cloud?

What about last time?

I saw this cloud and saw it as a young bird with a gangly neck leaning out of a nest, reaching down for something.  I did also see that the 'nest' could also be its body too!

Well, lots of the lovely folks DID see a bird, several mentioned a young bird, Ivana  and Bev mentioned the gangly neck, Sheila saw my nest as a dugong (which I see!)

Hello there!

Welcome to another round of What is it?  in which you tell me what your imagination sees in the image other than the literal picture, e.g. you might see the shape of a giraffe in the cloud or a house. 

Leave me a comment showing what you saw as I adore seeing how your imagination differs or is similar to mine!

What about last time?

Well, in this image, on the left, I saw a guinea pig or a beaver with its mouth open- you can see its eye and nose. It is facing another creature which looks like it is spitting out something. It reminds me of a large version of the Worm from the film Labyrinth or some sort of lizard creature.

   I think it's a tortoise (left) having a lively conversation with a small dog (right).

   Aww my comment from last time seems to have disappeared. I saw a bear on the left pictured from above and thought the cloud on the right could be a bear which would make it Baloo the Bear from jungle book talking to Kaa.

Quite a few lizards or reptilian creatures mentioned and definitely creatures communicating though I like the variation in what we considered it was!

Greetings!

How are you today? Well, I hope.

Draw up a chair and a cup of tea and get your thinking cap for the next round of 'What is it?'

In this game, you have a look at the picture below and see if you see an image in the cloud other than a cloud, e.g. animal, mineral, place, person, shape, etc.

You then leave a comment telling me what you thought it was and in the next edition, I will share what I thought it was!

What about last time?

They are talking to someone else in this picture? Think of someone they might talk to? Who is that?

 To me, I could see our late Queen Elizabeth II on the left, facing to the right but looking down.  In the second picture, you can see she is talking to the late Duke of Edinburgh who looked distinctly badger-like in it later years.

What did our diminutive, but much appreciated commenters see?

Alas, no one saw my Royal Family but I am always intrigued to see what others saw!

   I'm seeing two totally different things, neither of which probably make any sense. My first thought was the cloud on the left was a pencil, but I'm not sure what it's trying to do the cloud on the right. But the second photo made me think the cloud on the right was a fish about to open its mouth and devour the cloud-fish on the left! It's funny where our brains go...

Hello there!

It's time for another 'What is it?'

Here's the premise of these posts. 

I share a picture of something: a cloud, a tree, a vegetable, an object, a fold in a curtain, which bears resemblance to something else besides its obvious form, e.g. a potato that looks like a seal or a cloud that looks like Zeus shooting firebolts, or a curtain pattern that resembles a violin (yes, we've had all those).

Your job is too scrutinize the image and see what YOU see in the image, besides the obvious. 

You then share it in the comments.

I then reveal what I saw in a future post, alongside the illustrious commenters and share any similarities in opinions. It's fun to try and see what other people saw so DO join in the fun and leave a comment. I promise I'm not doing some sort of psychological test!  Please do comment, even if you haven't before, so I am not a Larry No-mates in the return to this post type!

This mangled piece of tissue ended up on the floor. I looked down and immediately saw an elephant's head. Two ears, a trunk and thin slitted closed eyes.
