Welcome back to 'What is it?' where we try to see something in an image, beyond the literal.

Have a look at the cloud below and see if you can see any particular image beyond a cloud and once you've done that, leave a comment for everyone else to see which will then be shared in the next post! I love seeing everyone's ideas for these!

 

What about last time?

I saw this as a sort of mystical siren with the body of a cyclone or perhaps in a blaze of fire and the head of an eagle, angrily shouting to the right!

The participants this week were varied but I love them and see them all- better than mine!

   It's a leg wearing a stripey stocking. To the left you can just see the top of the other leg and at the top the very bottom of a dress or skirt - it's obviously a giant stepping over something.
   
   Shame I missed the last one - so many said frog but I see a butterfly!

Hello there!

Welcome to another round of What is it?  in which you tell me what your imagination sees in the image other than the literal picture, e.g. you might see the shape of a giraffe in the cloud or a house.

What about last time?

Well, in this image, on the left, I saw a guinea pig or a beaver with its mouth open- you can see its eye and nose. It is facing another creature which looks like it is spitting out something. It reminds me of a large version of the Worm from the film Labyrinth or some sort of lizard creature.

What did our illustrious and much-appreciated commenters see?

   I'm not anonymous, I'm Joy from Joyknitt, although blogger doesn't recognise me even though I'm signed in ! In the top photo I can definitely see a lizard on the left, and on the right, a dog barking (at the lizard, no doubt). Thanks for the fun x x

   I should not read any other comments before deciding on my own! I was having trouble seeing anything, but now I see both clouds as lizards!

   I think it's a tortoise (left) having a lively conversation with a small dog (right).
   Still trying to see the late Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh in the previous one ... love your imagination! xxx

   Aww my comment from last time seems to have disappeared. I saw a bear on the left pictured from above and thought the cloud on the right could be a bear which would make it Baloo the Bear from jungle book talking to Kaa.

   Posted too soon! In the new one there's definitely a tortoise or turtle on the left but I cannot of me see anything on the right!

Quite a few lizards or reptilian creatures mentioned and definitely creatures communicating though I like the variation in what we considered it was!

What is it? Cloud#76

Hello there!

It's time for another 'What is it?'

Here's the premise of these posts. 

I share a picture of something: a cloud, a tree, a vegetable, an object, a fold in a curtain, which bears resemblance to something else besides its obvious form, e.g. a potato that looks like a seal or a cloud that looks like Zeus shooting firebolts, or a curtain pattern that resembles a violin (yes, we've had all those).

Your job is too scrutinize the image and see what YOU see in the image, besides the obvious. 

You then share it in the comments.

I then reveal what I saw in a future post, alongside the illustrious commenters and share any similarities in opinions. It's fun to try and see what other people saw so DO join in the fun and leave a comment. I promise I'm not doing some sort of psychological test!  Please do comment, even if you haven't before, so I am not a Larry No-mates in the return to this post type!

Here's this time's image

It was a cloud that I spied from a moving car. I took two images.

Actually, this time, I should say, WHO is it rather than WHAT is it?

They are talking to someone else in this picture? Think of someone they might talk to? Who is that?

I can't wait to hear what you think!

This mangled piece of tissue ended up on the floor. I looked down and immediately saw an elephant's head. Two ears, a trunk and thin slitted closed eyes.

It's been almost 3 years since I last shared one of my 'What is it?' posts.

I shared this cloud in August 2020 from my holiday to the Northumbrian coast.

I thought I saw Steven Spielburg's creation, ET (Extra Terrestial) holding out his magic glowing finger, facing to the side!!

What is it? #73- Clouds

Today is my first 'What is it?' post since February!  

We have the ubiquitous cloud-scape today which made me see a picture beyond the literal cloud...what do you see?

I saw a dolphin leaping out of the water in the middle.

The commenters were scarce but appreciated...what did they see?

   I see a dolphin on the left (well, half of one). It appears to be chasing whatever is in the middle - some kind of large, flat fish.

Well, 2 dolphins were also spotted and I can also see that little mousie, now I look!
