I came across a highly amusing sight on my way to a meeting today. One of our lovely maintenance staff sitting on the museum floor wrapping up articles, flanked by a man-sized roll of PINK bubble-wrap! I restrained from the overwhelming urge to grab a large piece and stamp on it the way they press grapes in the Mediterranean. It then made me think about how if you make the effort to clean and put a strawberry/raspberry/blueberry punnet into the recycling box instead of disposing of it in the bin, then you are rewarded by a small square of bubble wrap.
