Not blogging at work honestly!
Just realised that I never change the time on my blogs, looks like I am blogging at work. I assure you this is not the case! I never get a spare moment with the darlings- they demand my attention 100% of the time!
A jubilant thought!

mustard seeds
2 weeks ago, I taught my class a great song/chant I learnt at my LSO course. It's called Bungalow, and it's kind of a call and response song. My class, like me, instantly loved it, and have since demanded it when given time. Then last Tuesday at choir, when we had 3 minutes left, I asked if there were any requests and my class reps requested Bungalow enthusiastically. The rest of the choir picked it up in the 2 minutes and seemed to like it. I thought nothing of it after that.
The next day at lunchtime, I entered my colleague's room to give her some resources and to my bewilderment, could hear Bungalow being sung en-masse through 3 shut doors. I glanced through the windows, to find a circle of well over 60 children singing it. At the end of lunchtime when I went to collect my class, they informed me that years 3,5 and 6 were all singing it.
And further displays were my playground duty on Thursday when most of Year 6 spent their entire playtime standing in a circle singing it. It was amazing!
Just shows- one small song, one small piece of inspiration! I stand in jubilant disbelief!
In other school news, we finished reading There's a boy in the girl's bathroom again such a good book- I really recommend it! Kids love it, it's a great study in self-belief, friendship, confidence and the hope of change!
