What is it? #71 - More strange tree carvings

Welcome to another round of What is it?  The photographic game where I share a picture which I see a different image in that what is immediately obvious, e.g. I'm seeing something OTHER than a tree here!  Leave a comment with your suggestion of what you see in this image other than a tree!

What about last time?

Well, I posted another tree with interesting markings from the same visit to Thorndon country park.

In these tree markings, I saw a few things. I saw a man's face wearing an eye-patch. His nose looks a bit beaten up and his lips are sagging- he's been in a fight!  Also, I saw a huddled figure down the bottom looking into the pond- he has a fishing rod in his hand and it has just caught an eel! Oh and above him, Jabba the hut is sitting looking down with an empty plate waiting for his fish!

Well, what did the participants in this challenge see?

   I see a worm like alien (something like the alien thing that trapped/enslaved Leila in Star Wars) standing next to an UFO. Bellow I see a levitating island of some sorts with the turtle teacher from the Panda Kung fu series.

   At the bottom I see a toad with big eyes. At the top is a cartoon cat (like Garfield) standing next to a saucer.

   At the bottom I can see a bird sitting on a nest. Unfortunately, try as a might, I can't make head or tail of what's on top. I can see the toad mentioned by Bev too, but instead of big eyes, it might be a crown on its head. xxx

   The tree looks like someone who had a bit too much to drink, has an eye open and the other one closed, and also has a cigarette in his mouth.

   I only see a strange, wonky face in the tree! Though the bottom part of the tree markings (if I ignore the 'eyes' above) look like an apple on a table to me, haha!

Well, there certainly seems to be lots in common with what we all saw. Ivana saw Jabba the Hut, most people saw him as some sort of alien or toad.  Everyone saw the drunken face and other things! 

Great ideas everyone- I really enjoyed reading your visions!

What is it? #64 The "EURGH, What is that in my dinner?" edition!

Can you believe I've made 64 of these 'What is it?' posts?   It's been a while since the last one and it is high time I shared another! 
If you are new to this, I share a picture in which I have seen something- perhaps a cloud, a shadow, a blemish on the pavement and seen in it, something beyond the mundane object it is in reality.
Today, the person with the vision is CBC, my husband.  We were eating dinner last night, a pasta which was a bit experimental- it had very old pesto in it (been open since Easter, shhh...), some Swiss chard bits from a plant which has totally gone to seed and fallen down in the wind and chive flowers.

Suddenly, as we were eating, CBC horrifiedly exclaimed, "KEEEEEZZZZZIE, what is this in my pasta?????"
He pointed to the central item below.

I explained that it was a chive flower petal on a bit of stalk but he was adamant it looked like something else....

What do you think that something else was???

What about last time?



Well, in this cloud-scape below, what I immediately saw was in the TOP bit of the cloud. It looked to me, like a Lion's  head profile from the side, facing right. It has a big snout and its mouth was shut and its mane was flowing out to the back.

Except, when I looked again, I saw something completely different.
Slightly below the centre of the image, is a large suspicious looking EYE of a creature with a big mop of hair on top of its head looking right at me! Its nose is pointing to the left and it has a mouth with teeth. And now I can't unsee it!

What did the illustrious commenters see?

   The new photo looks like the head of a menacing wolf and also I see what I could be the snout of a crocodile. I can see his menacing sharp teethes ready to snap. I'm not sure what the spiraling cloud that is forming over its head can be interpreted as but I wouldn't turn my back on that wold or crocodile.

   Oh wait, now I see a hand with a dagger stabbing the top of the head. The arm is draped with a long cuffed sleeve.

   I definitely see something with sharp teeth at the bottom but I'm not sure what's coming out of the top of it! Maybe it's a dragon breathing smoke?

   I've just looked at the photo again and now I see a wrist coming in from the left with a hand on the end. The hand is holding something with which it appears to be stabbing the thing with sharp teeth.

   It looks like an animal with a Trump comb over hairdo and he's looking up at the hair with one eye wondering if it is going to fall. He has a fang on the left hand side of his mouth and he's a bit worried looking lol

The comments had me laughing and TOTALLY nodding in agreement. Once someone points something out and describes me, I totally see it, especially the Trump comb-over and the hand stabbing!  But it does seem like there was a lot of agreement between you lot!  A great response to last time!  Thank you so much! The comments on 'What is it?' are the ones I am most excited to receive!
