Hello there,
Evening to ye.
I hope that all is going well for you.
Who's up for some more broochage?
Ok then...
My Doctor Who character, the Adipose, came from Goodnight Boutique and he's featured once before I think, a while back. He's very versatile being white.
From my vintage Maxi outfit post a while back, I wore this pink bird brooch (which looks like either soap or sweets) is one of the earliest brooches to feature in 5 brooches but the little cactus pin is a little newbie from Ebay.
My Erstwilder bookish owl always makes me think of Harry Potter.
I bought this squirrel pin from my local street market an absolute age ago and he has sat on my green coat for ages but he's never been in 5 brooches but given the Autumnal nature of this charity-shopped dress, I felt compelled to remove him from my coat and give him his debut!
Makes 6 really, but I want to post the last of the September broochage- here's the Matilda brooch I made for Roald Dahl's centenary again.
Have you worn any brooches recently?
xx
those brooches are so cute...and this time I can't pick a favourite, I really can't! The one with the girl reading a book is so cute....and that golden squirrel pin is fabulous (at first glance I thought it was a gold pelican).
ReplyDeleteThe bookish owl is totally amazing...perfect for Harry Potter fans...and those pink birds are so romantic. The character from dr. who is pretty darn cute as well:).
I have no idea about the Dr Who thingy, but it looks like a really cute little ghost to me-I like it! The squirrel looks great too.
ReplyDeleteAdipose are so cute! They may be one of my favourite Dr Who Monsters ever. And how i wish losing weight was that simple!
ReplyDeleteI love your Matilda as well. <3 homemade!

Ha, I like the adipose! Also, that tiny cactus is adorable.
ReplyDeleteAs usual, so lovely! I liked the Adipose :) and the cactus, but the one I really really loved was the owl and the books! It's because I love books. The last picture is adorable, with the beautiful necklace! I know, it's about brooches, but I loved the necklace!
