BEDM 29: Passion Project: #What is it 32?

Today's BEDM brief is something you are passionate about or a new project you may start in blogging.  My humble  offering for today is not anything new but something I started a long time ago. I wonder, when I post my 'What is it?' posts, what you think of them- please, if you don't join in usually, I would LOVE an honest opinion!

For me, What is it?  is a variety of things:
1. A chance to be creative and exercise my imagination.
2. A chance to engage imaginatively with all of  you.
3. A chance to be a bit silly
4.  A chance to LOOK at something in a different way.

I loved the Keri Smith book, How to be an explorer of the world.  I love her take on viewing things at a slower pace, engaging creatively and enjoying life in different mediums.

When I look at the sky and see shapes in the clouds, I am going beyond the mundaneness of life and attempting to see it in a fun way, as I did as a child. I'm trying to take a ride of imagination.

Doing these What is it? posts for me was also something original I could do in the blog world.  Everyone elsewhere does all my other type of posts much better than me  and so I sought something unique and different.  I am constantly staggered by the shapes I see in the clouds and so this became the impetus to make a new feature.  I see it as an appreciation of the wonderful uniqueness of nature and I see God having a joke too!

So, enough philoposizing... onto today's picture.
What do you see this cloud as (also pictured above.)?  I see it as something distinctive and I wonder if you see the same or something even more interesting?

Please leave me a comment as to what you think this cloud also resembles in the comments- all good fun!

What about last time?

What is it? #31

I saw this as the side-profile of an early man or a gorilla/ape-like man.

What did the wonderful commenters see?

  1. Well this one definitely looks like a face to me.. I can't get beyond face, I can't think of anything else it could resemble!

  4. Its definitely a face but I'm not sure whose it might be. Maybe a Muppet? (I've never watched it but it looks familiar!) x

  5. Kezzie, I see the face profile of a Neanderthal man looking a little confused... hehe.
Could be a distant relative of mine.
    Take care and be happy.

  6. I see a very creative and imaginative mind at work! You've reminded me that it's been far too long since I just sat back and saw things in clouds. Hugs!

  7. I feel so hoodwinked! Tricky lady :) As for the new image, maybe I am sleepy but I give the boring answer of a lion cub looking to the right. So disappointed in myself. xo

  8. This is awesome! I do see a face too but I'm feeling totally uncreative and unoriginal in just seeing that compared to some of the previous answers you got. Wowzer you do have a creative bunch on here. I'm dying to see your new description of this one :)

  9. the first one resembles a turtle...and the second one ....hm, one of those Klingon war (space) ships....the other ones well, they remind me on all sorts of things. I do love to stare at clouds, I haven't done it in a while, I don't know why.

  10. I think you have loads of interesting things to masses, just that some of the masses, you know, are worried about lashes and lipsticks and only that, while you have loads of an interesting mind and expertise to offer! I like that! As for the cloud, it's a face :) Like a stone face, if I am not mistaken, from the Neverending story!

  11. Definitely the side of a face, facing the right. That was fun to look back on previous months photos at the end!

Most of them saw the face, Julia also got the early man reference and Zoe even saw someone specific! I love Ivana's Star Trek reference and the fact yes, that could be a turtle head!

I look forward to hearing from you.

  1. The first cloud resembles an eagle...or on closer inspection it could also be a dragon.

the second one looks like a face, but maybe it is just because I read it reminds you of it...thinking about it a bit more, it reminds me of Transformers or Iron man's helmet

  2. The first one looks like nothing distinctive to me. I looked at it far too long and my first thought was hammerhead shark, so I'll go with that!

  3. A hungry dragon that saw something yummy :)

  4. This time round it looks, to me, like a genie lamp or a helicopter.

I really enjoy it when people show their silly side through their blog.

  5. Oh Kezzie - I know you love your clouds, but honestly, I can't see much! I don't comment because all I would say every time is "err, I don't really know... Is it a sheep?" And that would get pretty boring... I think seeing things in clouds is like being able to see those hidden image optical illusion thingies - you can either do it, or you can't. And I can't! xxx

  6. Thank you for being honest Curtise! I just wanted to know what people thought of it and that is a valuable opinion that I wanted to know!x

  7. A bird flying to the left with a whale swimming downwards behind it, humpback I think from the sound of it. I vote for reason #3. Oh wait, are we voting?

As for your question on the length of the tights, I have been finding them almost just the right fit. The could be just a smidge longer but for my purposes they work just fine. I do not actually wear them around, if I did it might be an issue :)

  9. I don't see anything very clear, but to me it looks like someone flying through the air with their arms stretched out to their sides. Maybe with a jet pack on their back.
    ...that makes me sound crazy!

  10. I kind of see a bird flying to the left...but I'm trying too hard. I love your idea to engage people's imaginations through looking for things in the clouds. Usually when I see something in real life it's so fleeting and surprising, an Aha! moment. If I don't join here consistently it's because my imagination has failed me. Gaaa!

  11. I think I actually do love comments more than crisps... I KNOW. Not spam comments, obviously. Crisps are wayyyyyyyyy better than spam comments.
