Scavenger Hunt

Hello my possums!

I'm rather late posting my Scavenger Hunt pics and one or two may be familiar but nonetheless, into the fray!

Joy
This might not look a particularly joyful photo to you but I was really really joyful. I was at my old church for the carol service by candlelight. It was warm, glowing, I had a candle in hand, with old familiar friends round me in a place I've known since birth and we were celebrating Christ's coming! What more could I need!

Together,
Two foxes, reunited together by some nefarious person!

Tree
The Disney tree at St Pancras.

Ornament
I saw these darling tin hot air balloons at a Christmas fair and was rather taken with them/

Light

The advent wreath exuded a warm, glowing light.

Christmas

Jesus in a manger at Christmas!

Sparkle
I stopped in West London to photograph this sparkly wreath!

Giving
Forget seven swans-a-swimming, there were six million swans gathered together as someone was giving them food! there were also geese (not a-laying!)

Food

Boxing day Vegetarian goodies!

Red
Robin Redbreast and Rudolph the red nosed reindeer (who is apparently a FRAUD!)

Kitchen

The only picture I could find set in a kitchen! Apologies to anyone in the photo who is displeased at seeing themselves! I figured most people are a bit blurry so they shouldn't mind too much!

Whatever you want

I like this tin full of enamel pins! Can you spot the satsuma pin I bought??? Where's Wally, the brooch edition!

  2. A nice Christmas Scavenger hunt. I think it a very nice family photo. The only one missing is you. It happens at my house too. I take photos of everyone but me. I hope that there's progress or a solution about your house hunting for a place to stay. I bet you're busy packing. My husband has lots of pins like that from ears of gathering.

    Take care.
    Hugs,

  3. That crib with the balloons still makes me smile. I pretend to have a fear of balloons as part of a long-form acting exercise at work, but really I like those floaty devils. And the 2 foxes are so sweet! Thanks for the very kind words on my blog, dear. I am sure things will work out wonderfully for all of us in this area and it is very nice to know someone cares.

  7. Watching your house drama with interest. Hope things work out for you.
Your brooches shine once again. Interesting to hear of your hand washing woes. My washing machine just broke tonight, so handwashing it is for the moment...for four! Oh joy! Actually I don't mind a bit of waterplay. Fortunately it is Summer so should dry pretty fast even drip dry.
    Lovely scavenger photos!

  11. It was nice to look back at more of your Christmas through the scavenger hunt photos. I especially liked 'joy' and can understand why your were joyful and the Boxing Day food looks delicious.

  12. It's lovely seeing so much light in the darkness Kezzie - that's one of my favourite things about mid Winter. The Disney tree and the foxes are gorgeous. Lovely collection.

  14. I love the balloons on the manger! (I've rarely been to church, but when I was little my mum took me at Christmas and she must have explained it was Jesus' birthday because I made a card for him and interrupted the service by marching up the aisle singing happy birthday dear Jesus and putting my card up on the altar! I feel like younger me would have appreciated him having some balloons too!). Your Christmas eve feast looks yummy too :D
