But any reference to Amy Pond cosplay (what dressing up as a character is now apparently known as) seems to say that the red hair is obligatory. So..... da naaaaaaaaa!!!!

"Gasp!!! She has red hair!!" whispers Amy!

CBC's not at all keen on dyed hair so I haven't really gone there...though wish I could!

I discovered I could mess around with my hair colour in Pic Monkey- you can pay for the premium service to use the hair dye function but I discovered you can use the lipstick function to equally good measure!
Back to school today! We had a rather busy weekend of cleaning and cooking which I will tell you more about soon but all to good purpose. Rather nervous about tomorrow- I am running a parents' workshop for our parents in Reception to teach them some songs and games and ideas for how they can use music with their children. Not done anything like this before so still doing my usual procrastination as I fret over it. Of course I know it will be fine but you know, I don't know WHAT exactly what they do with their kids in any way musically and don't want to patronize them in anyway!!! Also, have not taught their kids music as I don't teach Reception this year- I am very sad about this fact!
Hope all is well with you.

Linking to TARDIS Tuesday with Maricel

Oh, wow, a parents' workshop... it will all be fie, cause you are a very caring and loving person, not to say competent, I am sure - well, I saw you playing, I am sure as a teacher you are perfect as well! I loved the inspiration and actually you look more beautiful than the original, I loved your outfit! Red is my favorite color and I have kind of reddish natural hair - not completely, but kind of a dark red shade, and when the day is very bright or sunny, you can then see it - so what can I say, I loooooved your red hair, you could well wear that color! It looks lovely on you, really! Good luck tomorrow, but I am sure all will be great!

You look fantastic with red hair, it really suits you. xxx
ReplyDeleteHa ha ha ha, Kezzie! I like your dark hair! Don't do anything crazy! 😊
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to come to a parents' workshop with you! In fact, maybe I'll move Jo to your school... I adore, adore, adore your look. You are fab, with or without the genuine ginger!
ReplyDeleteVery cute outfit! I love Amy Pond (my favorite companion, I can't lie), and I think you've done her justice. And the Weeping Angels are the only villains that I ever found really, really scary.
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Jessica, Zella Maybe
Oh, man! And here I thought you'd committed to the red hair. That's some pretty expert photo manipulation, my friend. I was almost convinced. But I agree with Pom Pom - you look loads prettier with dark hair. Thanks for linking as always! :D
ReplyDeleteYou had me all the way fooled which, since you do not know how slow I am, I would be very proud of if I were you :) Truly thought you had gone red and totally in support of it. You look even more the lovely sprite that usual with those faux crimson locks. It even distracted me from your stunning legs in those tights...briefly :) Enjoyed them so much, dear! Thank you for sharing, you know I appreciate it!! xo
ReplyDeleteOh, you really should go red head!
ReplyDeleteYou look great with red hair! You should try it for real :) I usually go for the a similar colour, maybe by the end of the month I'll be a redhead too :)
ReplyDeleteYou had me fooled, I thought you'd dyed it! Lovely colour you chose.
ReplyDeleteHope all goes well for your workshop. Your pupils love your lessons so I'm sure the parents will too. I would have loved the opportunity of something like that when mine we're that young. They must be interested to come along to the workshop so I'm sure they'll be eager for any help.
Lisa x
You had me fooled too, it really suits you! I love red hair and have the pale skin to go with it, unfortunately, my hair is mouse brown (with a sprinkling of grey but shhh, don't tell!)
ReplyDeleteI actually thought you had dyed your hair red, aren't you a smarty pants with technology.
ReplyDeleteLove the hoodie and the red hair. I love red hair!! x
ReplyDeleteLove the red hair!!
ReplyDeleteYour class will be great, I am sure!! You had me fooled with the hair! I have to say, you look lovely as a red head!
ReplyDeleteYou'd look so cool as a redhead; I love being one, all done with chemicals, of course!
ReplyDeleteFab casual look, good luck with the workshop (you'll do great, I'm sure!) xxx
I hope your parent's workshop went well! I like that red hair for a moment I thought it was for real! I will have to experiment too! Sarah x
ReplyDeleteYou really suit red hair! I hope that the presentation went well. It's a great idea! Jx
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking how nice your hair looks, whoo never thought of colouring it on Pic Monkey!! great look, love how you style it the same :) x
ReplyDeleteTeehee - I love that you found a thrifty alternative for photoshopping. Something tells me the lipstick-instead-of-hair-dye trick wouldn't work quite as well in real life :p I hope the parents class goes well! xxx
ReplyDeleteOh that lipstick function trick is nifty! I'll have to play around with it next time I edit my pics. Hope all went well with your workshop.

Excellent! I used to dye my hair red. I always went with an almost purple burgundy because it suits my coloring. My husband loved it, but the upkeep was difficult and expensive.
ReplyDeleteHaha, I was still to get to this post you see! I LOVE your hair like this, very well edited too! Dead ringer for the outfit.
ReplyDeleteIsn't picmonkey fun? I use it for my blog banners. I like that actress -- I saw her recently in a movie, and she was great. Fun photos!
