Vegetables- making people cheerful for 5000+ years!

Returning from my brief foray into Lego Sculpture, I am returning to vegetable collaging courtesy of Slaley Village show, and this time, we have the WINNER of the children's vegetable modelling class. So, ladies and gents, I ask you the usual question. WHAT is it? What was our child trying to create here? CBC and I have a definite idea about what we think it is, do you think the same or something different? Leave a comment in the box below...

So WHAT was last week's?
Here's what everyone else thought:
- A (beautiful) cloud and a (spectacular) rainbow! And I'm the first guesser too! What do I win? xxxReplyDelete

Yay! I guessed right :)ReplyDelete
I'm guessing this one has to be a cloud and rainbow. Lego is awesome.
Well, 'prizes' (sorry nothing tangible this time, but one day there will be a What is it? with prize) for originality go to Lizzie and Lisa-Jane for their ideas but everyone else was right, it was indeed a cloud with a rainbow emerging from it. 'Prize' for suitable flattery (she took the hint!) goes to Katie for her bracketed compliments!

Is it a purple hued peacock? There's a definite hint of fanned-out tail going on.
ReplyDeleteI agree. Peacock.
ReplyDeletePeacock! Or a colorful turkey?
ReplyDeleteI agree a peacock
ReplyDeleteHello Kezzie, yes, I agree with everyone else, it's a peacock displaying it's beautiful tail - but, happily, not shrieking loudly!
ReplyDeleteYep, I think it's a peacock too.
ReplyDeleteI have sent the photo to Jess, thank you so much
ReplyDeleteYou are such an artist

nice post, the salad look so good!!
ReplyDeleteHa, see it was the shape last week that was clouding my judgement (no pun intended), I should've looked at the colours instead. Definitely a peacock this week or, some graceful lady in a long dress or long coat with train (think Charlize Theron in the J'adore adverts) and the coat it picking up everything in it's path!
ReplyDeleteA peacock with its tail opened out :)
ReplyDeleteLizzie's Daily Blog
Hurrah!! *Grasps pretend prize and makes thirty-minute Oscar-style speech*
ReplyDeleteI reckon this one's a turkey.
I hope your stress leaves you soon- perhaps a spot of dancing in the living room/kitchen might help :) And some biscuits xxx
My first thought was a turkey though that would be more appropriate for Canadians as we are not long off the Thanksgiving holiday. If not a turkey then perhaps a peacock. I am not very original as these have both already been suggested. A very colourful flounder?
ReplyDeleteI hope you are cheered up soon and that perhaps there is chocolate involved in that.
xoxo
Definitely a peacock. xx
