Dear 77 people on my followers list,
I appreciate you- thank you, new and old (Hello Harlow vintage!!!). But don't be shy, come and say HI! I promise to say Hi back!
Dear Postal delivery office,
Why oh why wont you open till 8 EVERY night? It would provide more jobs for people and help me to not have to be tempted by shops on a Saturday when I have to trek to town to pick a parcel up!
Dear women of combined churches centenary choir,
Really me as ONE alto versus 14 sopranos???? (FYI soprano: high voice part, sings the tune. Alto: low voice part: sings a counter-melody) Isthat fair???? I have a soprano voice but I made the sacrifice!!!!
Dear Altos who haven't come to rehearsal yet,
Get theee hither forthwith! (It's almost Christmas. 'Hither' is therefore a legitimate word to use in common parlance!)
Dear bloggers,
How come so many of you have been rather sparse in your posting this week? Some of you who ALWAYS blog missed a day or too together! Why?!
Dear Miss Simmonds Says!
Yay!!!! Another hat fanatic!!!!!!
Dear colds, flu-bugs, nasty lurgies and other wild beasties,
YOU are not welcome here. Do you hear me? You are ugly and your mother smells of elderberries so spack off!*
Dear Chris of the Chrlog,
Tee hee, I do hope you join in this week! I look forward to more text-speech Friday letters!
Dear Commenters on the Tom Baker post,
HA!!! You fell for my hypnotism!!!!! Honestly I opened my e-mail inbox and it was all KezzieAG comments! Hmmmm, let's try this again. Look into my eyes..... You are feeling sleepy.... now send me all your worldly goods!
*(a phrase coined by Tom Baker in Destiny of the Daleks. Did you see my Tom Baker inspiration outfit here? I do hope so!)

Kezzie I joined in last week and gave you credit. I hope you saw it. Thank you so much dear girl. I love this link up and if not for you, I would not have found it. Have a great weekend. What do elderberries smell like? Not good I guess. xo
ReplyDeleteHa! This is funny. Ugh, I remember being made to sing Alto, although I'm not one either. I suck at harmony and it was a major pain! :D
ReplyDeleteI can't believe I'm one of the "super-regular" bloggers you mention but since you ask.... I was out and about!
Great blog post kezzie made me chuckle! Have a great weekend
ReplyDeletei love your writing style...almost as if i cam hear you speaking when you type. it has been a quiet blog, week, hasn't it? maybe it's the upcoming thanksgiving??? either way, have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI assume you're speaking on behalf of USA post offices; the times are just going to get worse. Some post offices are closing down (mostly rural areas) and they're pondering ending even Saturday deliveries to your mailbox.
ReplyDeleteConservatives in congress passed a requirement that the Post Office pay for decades of retirement pay in just a few years. Then suddenly they now have a massive budget problem. I'm afraid they're just trying to make it collapse so a private company like UPS or FedEX will absorb it and they won't have to "pay" for it anymore... But I don't think magazines or netflix are going to last with 8-10 dollar parcel services.
ha-ha, witty girl kezzie! :) save thy voice dear soprano. ;)
ReplyDeleteI missed two days because I was in an odd mood and couldn't bring myself to post. No idea about everyone else though.
ReplyDeleteI think post offices round here are determined to miss out on my trade! x
you're so funny! But yes, why is there all the politics in choirs and choral groups? I am a hat fanatic! but I never seem to wear them!! xxx
ReplyDeleteGreat post! :)
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about cold's and bugs there everywhere at the moment!
Take care
Vanessa
