Hi there,
AS I thought I'd do Style Imitating Art on Tuesday, TARDIS Tuesday becomes TARDIS Thursday by the time I actually publish this.
Today's TARDIS Tuesday is by my new favourite, Yasmin Khan- one of the Doctor's trio of companions and soon to be the only companion.
She wears this outfit in Spyfall, Part 1, the new year episode from last year.

She wears a chiffon mustard blouse with acorns on and a black leather jacket, blue jeans and trainers.
And here's me:
I cannot believe that I have this wretched blouse at last!!! It came from French Connection and I have searched for AAAAAAAAAAAAAAGES for it and then someone told me they knew where it came from! It was my one sale during the dreaded BF weekend- it was just coincidental that they told me then!
I added my usual black £2 charity shopped leather jacket- not really the same shape but it'll do.
I actually forgot what trousers and shoes she wears so this is something to improve on next time I wear this. It's always good to have somewhere to go with it!
Today has been a productive day.
I did some marking of Year 5 work, did some other school bits, made a recorder video for the year 3's, chatted to my sister, I cleaned out the fridge, I made a massive batch of carrot and lentil soup out of some mouldy carrots (fine once peeled) that I brought home from school, I hoovered, I did 200 skips on my skipping rope and 50 shuttle runs, made Noodles, wrapped Christmas presents, sorted washing, made the beds, read a bit, played Scrabble and watched Doctor Who,
Please keep me and my family in prayer. CBC felt very unwell today and my sister tested positive for Covid today (she's a Year 6 teacher)- she lives with my 70 year old Dad and Stepmum and they have all had 'colds' since Friday. Also, I stupidly took a plate of dinner to CBC without wearing a mask and apparently it was too hot, as I handed it to him, he yelped in my face and thrust the plate back at me as I'd burnt his fingers. I swear, if I get Covid because of a hot plate, I will be furious!!! Pray to God that I've gone this far without it, that it will continue.
Oh-oh, I'm sorry about the mishaps with the hot plate of food. This must be a very stressful day for you even though you have accomplished much around the house. Only time will tell. You are in good health so at least you have that on your side. Lets hope for the best.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Julia
Continuing love and prayers for you and all the family. Esp your sister and CBC.
ReplyDeleteKezzie, this is so awful to hear about your husband and now wider family having Covid. It sounds really horrible and I hope that you can stay safe without catching it yourself. Well done for getting so much done, I felt the same way during lockdown, it was great to achieve so much. Take care xx
ReplyDeleteOh dear, I hope CBC starts to feel better soon. My boss was completely out of action with it for 2 weeks - even answering emails left him so exhausted he had to go back to bed. I'm sending all my healing thoughts to CBC and your sister. Will your dad and stepmum get tested now? I hope you stay symptom free as well. This must be such a worrying time for you.
ReplyDeleteOh dear! Sending positive thoughts and healing vibes to you and your family. Sorry to hear about the hot plate incident! You've been very productive today. Keeping busy is certainly the best thing to do to keep worrying thoughts at bay.
ReplyDeleteYour chiffon blouse is gorgeous, by the way! xxx
Yikes! Sending big non-COVID vibes to you, CBC and your family, Kezzie! I hope you haven't got it.
ReplyDeleteLove your pretty blouse!
Oh dear! I hope your sister recovers quickly and doesn't pass anything on, likewise CBC. What a stressful time you're having. No prayers but lots of love and good vibes.
ReplyDeleteThat blouse is lovely, are French Connection still around? I used to love the clothes I found of theirs in charity shops. xxx
I haven't been up to date with things on your blog, hoping things have improved- at least you posted negative. I hope you'll manage to avoid it. Love your outfit, the blouse is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely blouse, and I much prefer your leather jacket, and I prefer the black trousers to blue jeans - so for me this is an improvement rather than something to be improved upon, but I guess that's not really the point of cosplay :)
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear your sister tested positive too. I'm hoping your future posts will tell me that your Dad and Step Mum are both OK, and that CBC and your sister are feeling better. I am glad to already know that the hot plate didn't cause you to contract Covid. Wretched virus!!
xx
