September Scavenger Hunt 2015

Once more, I am scraping in at the last minute with my Scavenger Hunt created by the lovely Jill at Made with love.

Into the fray!

Woven
CBC's two wicker chairs. Useful as they can go inside or outside and be used as extra chairs when people come to dinner.

Repeating
The fence pattern repeats.

Greedy

How yummy are these? It was one teacher's 60th birthday and she went to a traditional English bakery and bought this selection for us to share!  Yes, we were all a little greedy with this lot!

Flowers

A selection from my beloved wildflower meadow in my local park!

Curly
The front door of the historical church in which I played in a concert recently.

Adventures

In case you missed it, I had an adventure involving the Weeping Angels from Doctor Who!

Line

Oh such a mundane photo but I thought, let's take it reaaaaaaaaaaaally literally!  I also thought it would be a talking point for international readers. What does a single yellow line on the road mean in your country?

Mesmerising

I always find water mesmerizing, but I am always particularly mesmerized by this water feature in my local park- it's featured in many scavenger hunts!

Triangle

Would you believe I seemed to be unable to find a triangle this month so I thought I'd take a stylised triangle. These flags seemed to form a sort of triangle with the horizon as the base.

Dreamy
Little Prince is looking very dreamy snoozing next to the chair. Terrible photo but he woke up when I got nearer!

Day
You can see the sun in the sky during the day!

Whatever you want

Once again, these aren't the best photos (in fact all mine are pretty shoddy this month), but I thought these Harvest Festival displays at church deserved recognition for their cleverness in the use of pea-pods and brussel sprouts hanging from wire!

I do hope you might have joined in this month. All good fun:

Next month's choices are:
Question
Cream
Number
Lattice
Familiar
Ring
Today
Down
Writing
Many
Broken
Whatever you want

  2. I love your photos, Kezzie, and I'd rather see you a little late than never in the scavenger hunt. I have to admit that I've never seen Brussel sprouts in any flower arrangement in my life! Your photo for day is beautiful, and that pile of goodies made my mouth water! Have a lovely week!

  4. Oh greedy takes top marks from me! Yum. Mr. Kitty is a close second though. They always know when you get close, never too far asleeep.

  5. A lovely set of photos. I completely forgot to take any! I might see if I can cobble together a collection today.
Cats have an annoying habit of looking all cute and sleepy and photogenic, only to wake up the moment you get close enough to take a photo and look grumpy!
The greedy shot is making me hungry. I can't have cake for breakfast (I would, I just don't have any in the house).
The weeping Angel is creepy but I enjoyed your post. Did you see Dr Who this weekend? I can't wait for next week! The eyes - the creepy black eyes!

  12. Hello, these are great photos you shared. I really like line and flower. If I'm correct (and I May not be) we don't use a single yellow line in the US. Maybe I'm not aware since I'm used to driving on huge multi lane freeways here in southern California. We do use two yellow lines to make the center of a roadway. Have a wonderful week :)

  14. I always love your Scavenger Hunt! I loved Little Prince and I also love wicker chairs - or anything like that, tables for an outdoor event, sofas, all :) I remember the angel pointing :) And I loved the flowers! By the way, how lovely is the colleague who celebrated her 60th birthday, so many lovely things she brought! I hope you have a very nice week, dear Kezzie!
