In this post, I am joining in with the Two Birds Inspiration Monday and catching up on last week's one. I never got around to actually posting it, so you get two for the price of one.
This is January Jones. I went to university with a January. Not this one though.
Stripy dress I can do, though not this chic horizontal stripes affair. This Emma Watson for People Tree organic dress is the best I can do. It's very comfortable but very short- you don't get the bare legs version. You also get the thrifted red jacket look because I like the contrast, I was cold and well, she has bright red lips and I don't! All the sandals are in the loft- I am too scared to get the ladder down, climb it alone, which I would have had to do for sandals. It was not good that I chose to wear these shoes since I then had to walk 2.2 miles in them home from CBC's cycle race. It was a LONG walk home. Luckily I was rescued by CBC's ex-flat mate with 1.3 miles to go!
Oh, and here is last week's look. Poppy Delavigne I think.
On the left was Swing dance-friendly/appropriate attire version of the look. I even ironed for you. On the right is the- "Oh look, Nora wore khaki-coloured trousers, hmmm, I was given some recently by my 70 year old friend, let me just try this at midnight," look with shiny sandals that hurt. Which one would you have chosen, if any?!

Kezzie, please can you pray for my auntie, who is severely depressed ? She is a Christian, but finding life very hard right now. I was able to visit her briefly at home last week, but she has become much worse since then. My cousin rang today to say she went into hospital in Ilford this afternoon. I feel a long way away!

ReplyDeleteI like the combination on the left with the wide leg trousers - great print and I just perfer wide leg trousers. The dress looks good too. Schools around here finish on Friday for 2 weeks, so we have another few days to go, although I haven't worked at all yet this week or last, the agency have no work for me at the mo - that means no pay this month! :(
