5 brooches and friends #57

I found this 5 brooches post labelled as #50 in my drafts box and decided that I might as well post it since it somehow was missed at the appropriate time.

I still remain amazed that my little sister bought me this Sugar and Vice necklace for my birthday when I really wanted it! Was such a surprise!

These two pins were a subtle accessory for an all black outfit.  The cute little Niffler pin is by Hannah Hitchman on Etsy and the K (which is upside down) was one I found at Vintage Emporium in Hexham last year.
I can't believe I never posted this.  This tortoise is very sweet from Bad Design Studio.  Their brooches are very reasonably priced at £3 but annoyingly, the brooch finding has come off the back of 2 of their brooches and I need to reglue them!
And finally, here's my Impossible Girl necklace!

Have you worn any brooches recently?

Check out Ann's post- she is always finding vintage gems in the brooch stakes!

  4. I wear brooches only on my jackets and I very seldom wear my jacket except in the fall when it's cool. I wear rings, necklaces, earrings and sometimes bracelets or watches. I love your Impossible Girl necklace. I like the K pin also.

  5. That bubble necklace is AMAZING!!

I wore my Fasnacht badge last week - does that count? (Every year a different badge is produced that you can buy to support the Fasnacht committee. If you buy/wear it you're supposed to not get confetti bombed as much).

  8. That tortoise brooch is so cute! It's a shame that they don't seem to last though but at least they can be easily fixed :) xx

  10. Looking forward to seeing your new brooches ;)
Love your tortoise though, that's cute.

I have been wearing brooches, yes, but the same ones as silly me never remembers to change them! I've mostly been wearing two bunnies at the same time. I would have had four, one for each of my bunnies past and present, but the butterfly back flew off one when I was getting it out and it landed behind a chest of drawers, and it felt wrong to wear three and not the full four! xxx
