Greetings to ye!
I hope your day was enjoyable. As you read this, I shall be purchasing about 70 recorders for my Year 3's who have all sent me money to buy them their own recorders.
The moment where I hand out their recorders and they come up one at a time to fetch is one of great joy for me. To see their excitement inherent in their face as they try to play it cool and walk nonchalantly when you know that they are all super-excited is fabulous!!!
Anyway, I digress. Onto the broochery!
This ringed beauty came from Topshop and essentially cost me 50p. I was delighted to get such a nice-looking resin brooch. It looks like Erstwilder! The balloon necklace comes from You Make Me design on Etsy. The pretty sewing machine necklace came from my flute friend Lara who I helped with her first craft fair. It is so pretty!
I know you saw this yesterday. This deer came from Gloriously Glittery on Etsy also as part of my Lucky Dip.
These adorable Collar clips of a Bee and Daisy came from the lovely Katie who sent them as a belated birthday. I adore belated birthday presents, especially when consisting of plastic jewellery!!!
And that's your lot.
Hmmm, since it was my 40th post, maybe I should've have done a giveaway. I might wait for 50 so stay tuned as you might win something at some point!
Any favourites?

I love that Topshop planet brooch! I have fond memories of recorder lessons! x
ReplyDeleteThe saturn looks fab, really nice colours.
ReplyDeleteAll very cute and very YOU, Kezzie!
ReplyDeleteWithout doubt, my favourite is the bee and flower collar clip (which would be perfect for my next outfit post!) Tell me, where did your friend buy it from?
ReplyDeleteI think it must be Etsy. It did come with the name but I forget. Ask her, she is @Teaandcaketime on IG and her blog url is WWW.hooklineandsinkher2.blogspot.com x
DeleteGlad we've got this mystery solved :) xxx
DeleteI always enjoy these posts and this one was no exception! That first brooch is so, so cool - I love anything related to planets and space, and the glittery-ness is lovely. The deer and the heart balloon are adorable too. - Tasha
ReplyDeleteI love the bee and daisy collar clips - so sweet!
ReplyDeleteI love the planet and the balloon.
ReplyDeleteI wish someone had offered to buy me a recorder when I was in year 3! Maybe I would have learned to play it and wouldn't feel like a complete musical failure now? (Compounded by the fact that I live with someone who learned drums, taught himself guitar AND sings in various choirs.) You're like the coolest music teacher EVER!
All cute and so you, but I absolutely love that coral broderie anglais top! xxx
ReplyDeleteI love the red gingham dress- but keep wanting to fasten your button, you brazen young woman!!
ReplyDeleteYou're the second one to comment. I didn't notice as it is a fake placket and the buttons aren't functional in that sense!
DeleteWhat delightful broochery! My favourite is the Topshop planet. And the deer, of course, which is lovely with your gingham top. xxx
ReplyDeleteI am up to a giveaway of brooches, you know how much I love brooches too, dear Kezzie! Well, I am eager to know more about the lovely kids and their excitement picking the recorder! That's so sweet! I love kids! So now, my favorite - I love everything that has to do with space and planets, so the first one from Topshop and 50p!!! is my favorite! But I also loved the bee and daisy - and can I add as favorite the sewing machine necklace? :) Hope you are having a sweet day! Hugs!

ReplyDeleteI had no idea Topshop had such cute brooches! I live near one now, so I'll have to pop in! :) Your brooches are always amazing! And oh, I remember how exciting it was to get my own recorder back in the day. How fun that you get to see their excitement! :)
