I love rejoicing in the beauty of our Earth and creator. I never fail to be amazed by what is there if only we have the eyes to see it. Thus, in honour of National Poetry Day, here is an offering.
If you are tired, go and seek the restoration of beauty.
If you are lonely, go and feel part of this wonderful, busy creation.
If you are hungry, feast your eyes on such delight.
If you feel dull, go and be brightened by the beauty
If you are lost, and know not what you seek, see what is before you first.
Our world is a many splendid thing.
Don't be cast down by the things you can't change, can't do, can't find.
Don't be led into despair by what is false, what seems futile, what seems disappointing.
Seek that which is there before us to be marvelled at and delight in that which is there before your eyes. Look at it in a different way, look at it like you haven't before.
Enjoy, drink of every detail and appreciate the masterpiece before you.
Some photos from my summer (and one or two others) which I hope will put in mind, places of beauty for you.

The lake, looking towards the grotto and walled gardens at Valentines.
Pale, beautiful summer late sunset.
The heather at full glory in the North Yorkshire moors.
A barn owl flies as the sun goes down.
Looking across the moors and farmland.
Early Autumn sunset ablaze.
Apple Blossom early morning.

A hummingbird hawkmoth flits here.
A hummingbird hawkmoth flits there...
It prepares to drink...
And flies off once again. So elusive...
I'd love it if you could share me a link of a photo of something beautiful in nature you have captured. Leave a link in the comments box and I'd love to come and look.
