10 to be thankful for- January 2011

1.  For my schedule being thus far less arduous this term- it really does make a difference to my sanity!
2.  For my family, especially thankful for my lovely sister taking the precious time to come and help me have a bit clearout.
3.  That it hasn't been colder and I haven't had hideous amounts of marking thus far- my wrist has been playing up.
4.  That this is not a long half-term! The Jan-Feb half-term is by far the most gloomy one.
5.   For the exciting possibilities musically at school this term that have already cropped up!  My recorder club will be taking part in our borough's recorder festival this year which I am very excited about! My kids are very enthusiastic about playing the recorder which is fab!
6.  For inspiration appearing when you least expect it.  Who would've thought that the annoyance of one of my children accidently doing their maths investigation work in their old book from Year 3 would have led my to find the perfect investigation to adapt for this Friday rather than having to do MORE boring word problems in order to test their +/- skills!! 
7. For my wonderful electric blanket- utter bliss! 
8.  For new friends!  Always lovely to find!
9.  For not having succumbed to any cold yet!
10. For each and every moment I have lived, laughed and thought this day and those before!
