As is often the case, sometimes, I take some pictures of outfits but they never make it onto here. Various reasons- 1. I am not in a blogging mood, 2. don't want to have too many outfit posts, 3. Don't transfer photos across from phone successfully. 4. I forget about them.
Therefore, I had a quick look through my folders on the computer and thought I'd bung together all the outfits I forgot to post into one post. Some will seem sadly inappropriate now given the season but it will have to just suffice.
So, let's give them a look!
I haven't worn this lovely dress from Jaeger for the last two years, since 2020 so it was due a revisit.
Here was a school outfit from July.
It was charity-shopped Cath Kidston from last Summer and worn with an almost matching wired headband from Primark and a Primark cardigan plus my rose gold Tom shoes which I reaaaaaaaaaaally must glue- the sole is flapping at the toe on one foot!
I added a charity-shopped straw and raw silk hat and a white linen M&S (Charity shopped) shirt plus Rieker sandals.
Lorelai LQ orange earrings made from reused plastic straws!
A recent charity-shopped item which I have already worn a lot was a black Indian rayon skirt. It features dancing figures in gold, red and green. £2.99 from the Salvation Army. I added a tomato red top from Topshop (charity shopped in Hexham) with frilled sleeves and my Dr Martens teal Joylyn boots.
Can you spy the gold leafed oak leaf earrings?
A black sparkly Primark cardigan provided a bit of a cover up if needed. This was a Saturday outfit. And finally, here is what I wore to go and watch the orchestra that I play with in Essex. There were only 2 flutes so I watched CBC play. As the whole programme was from the Classical era, I decided to go Jane Austen themed- sort of! 1970's does Regency!
Darn, it, uploaded the blurry photo. Style blogger fail again!
I wore it with my Gstar navy corduroy coat and a Green felt Accessorize hat (bought the same day as Bridesmaid dresses!) plus my Nan's locket!
And that's the lot! Any favourites here?
How would you style the Indian skirt? I am currently wearing it with a green tshirt and red cardie and big knitted Poppy!

Hello Sailor girl, a lovely array of outfits! Don't you and your niece look super stylish. Loving the parrot jumpsuit and oak leaf earrings. Don't forget to tag any bandstand activity with 'Bandstand Appreciation Society' - as started by Vix ;) xXx
ReplyDeleteI love the pretty blue Primark cardi
ReplyDeleteI love an outfit post! The photo of you and your niece at the waterside is gorgeous, that'd make a splendid blog header.
ReplyDeleteAll your outfits are fab. One of the Liz's is obsessed with the Dawn O'Porter range of dresses at Joanie Clothing, she's wearing one in the photo of the three of us I posted on our Saturday night out a couple of weeks ago.
I love your Louis Caring maxi, I'd steal that off you in a heartbeat. the Indian rayon skirts another beaut. I loved both your outfit combos! xxx
PS Yes, always happy to welcome another member to the Bandstand Appreciation Society!
Lots of fabulous outfits here, Kezzie!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely adore the sailor style Jaeger dress, and that lovely photo of you and your niece.
The jumpsuit is a stunner and so is the Indian maxi skirt, but my favourite here must be the Louis Caring maxi dress. I've got a dress from the same label, a deadstock one picked up in Cardigan many years ago. Now that I think of it, I've no idea where it has got to. xxx
The parrot jumpsuit is a favourite. I love that tomato red top you styled the Indian skirt with - it looks really good with it, along with the turquoise (?) shoes. I love the candid outfit shots - some of mine are blurry too (I only ever take the shots I post!).
ReplyDeleteLove these, especially the first one.
ReplyDeleteBonjour, vous avez un style qui vous va à ravir, et vos dernières photos sont vraiment superbes. Cdt
ReplyDeleteI love the Indian skirt. It looks lovely every way you styled it. Some great outfits here.
ReplyDeleteYou put together such great outfits! My favorite is the red dress with the green cardigan. So cute!
