TARDIS Tuesday this week is the other half of the pairing from last week's TARDIS Tuesday. I made an attempt at Jamie's outfit last week and after being egged on by Mags who was little disappointed to see I wasn't donning my silver sparkly catsuit, I decided to oblige!
Let's remind ourselves of the outfit:

She wears a pewter-sparkly jumpsuit with white boots and her bobbed hair in a black headband.
And here's me!
I did originally buy this little jacket AND leggings with Zoe in mind and I last wore them together here for the 'Something beginning with S party'. BUT, I wore them with a space dress as well. I confess that there is NO way I would wear this combo out of the house as I do not believe in wearing leggings as trousers with nothing covering my bum- I just do not like the feeling or look and I am only wearing this combo for a dress up. Plus, the jacket is a little too short and rides up to reveal my tummy- not happening in public! I wish the collar of the jacke was a little taller as it's a little too low but considering both items came from a charity shop separately, I think they go ok together! You can't see my headband at all which is a bit annoying- I did my fake bob haircut again!
Hope all is ok with you. I'm in school again this week- 3 days last week, 2 days this week. We seem to have lots of children- so many more than the last lock down. I confess that I don't relish this way of doing school- teaching other subjects full on for a few days and trying to get all the other online lessons done in the other days but it's the way it is. I'm going to join in with a Zoom with my old church praying for deliverance from all this, this week.
I keep thinking though that I am one of the lucky ones who has a job, who can make a difference, who has managed to survive through family illness unscathed and that it something that makes me grateful. I live in a nice place where I can walk without crowds.
I hope you are well.

Keep well Kezzie. And keep your positive attitude. Love the outfit - but you always sparkle, whatever you wear
ReplyDeleteOooh sparkly! This is probably one of those outfits that doesn't seamlessly blend into a regular outfit. People might start asking questions if you show up to school in a shiny catsuit. Great finds xx
ReplyDeleteLoving the sparkle! Your hair looks fabulous in that fake bob, I love it! x
ReplyDeleteLove the sparkle! I don't like to wear leggings as trousers either - in the house only and even then I wear a long jumper or cardigan that covers my bum!
ReplyDeleteHOORAH! You look amazing - and you have very much cheered me up! I am in school today. I was determined to keep my two metre distance, but how on earth can you help with fractions from two metres away? Deliverance is the right word. That is a good prayer. Strength and health in the meantime x
ReplyDeleteThat was me, Mags, from school!
DeleteYou look slim and trim in that outfit. I can picture you with cat ears on your head, lol... The hair looks nice and give contour to your pretty face.
ReplyDeleteI agree with prayers for deliverance of Covid and all the mess in which we find ourselves.
Hugs, Julia
I agree with Julia you look fabulous and slim and trim.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could get back into my schools.
Online is a poor substitute.
Take Care,
X
You look amazing in this outfit, Kezzie! I am with you on "leggings aren't pants" bandwagon, though!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you have your church online as an outlet for you - I can't imagine trying to do a job like that, especially with kids! Kudos to you, and sending you good vibes!
You captured that sparkly jumpsuit magnificently with that jacket and leggings combo, and how amazing is that sleek fake bob! I'm also in the leggings aren't trousers league ;-)
ReplyDeleteYour school and online lessons schedule sounds truly exhausting. I don't know how you do it. I'm hoping for deliverance very soon! xxx
What a fab cosplay!
ReplyDeleteI'm with you on the leggings worn as trousers thing, it just simply shouldn't be allowed.
It will be so nice when schooling can return to normal, I know a number of teachers and extra strain is almost too much to ask, it's not like teaching was an easy profession before Covid! Hang in there Kezzie, you're doing a great job!
xx
