Talk to the flowers

On Sunday, I went into the garden as it was sunny (it didn't stay that way).

I noticed so many plants that had started growing which was a joyous surprise!!!

A lovely white Hyacinth- I don't remember these last year!  Those red berries have started growing again as as the Flowering Currant-type plant and the Fennel flowers have already become prolific but in the foliage stage only.  The Rosemary flowering looks really attractive and the miniature Daffodils are a riot of joy,not forgetting the cherry Forget-me-not!

 And there's some pink too!
A cherry blossom by my shed looks so attractive right now-  I only pruned it weeks ago! A pink Hyacinth too and I always forget the names of these small pink flowers!! Anyone know?!

I can't wait to see the garden gearing up to show its best as Spring reaches us!

How is your garden faring now?
xx

  2. How exciting! Ours is starting to show signs of Spring, too. The magnolia is in bloom, the rosemary is flowering and cyclamens as well. The wild garlic is on it's way. There's other stuff too but I don't know what they are! x

  4. Hi Kezzie, thanks for your comment on Tom's ipf. Can I ask you if your Father in law actually had a longer life taking those drugs as I have read that they don't really do a lot except make people feel dreadful. I have an email address if you have time to respond. thecrowsnest55@yahoo.com am very interested. many thanks. Briony

  5. We are still cold, but have many of the same blooms you do. You are much farther north in latitude, but must be warmed by the ocean breezes? Our blooming trees are just beginning to come out. Daffodils are fading. Spring is here, but it's still rather chilly.

  8. A riot of colour just the thing to brighten the dreariest of days! Our new front garden is packed with tulips waiting to bloom and some established shrubs one of which is a forsythia, my favourite. The back garden is a work in progress but we have plans for that space and they are all doable 😀

  9. It's a joy to take a walk around the garden and see plants beginning to flowers and spot something new. In our garden it's the wallflowers grown from seed that are doing well and have a lovely perfume. Blossom is a favourite. Your pink cherry blossom is gorgeous.

  10. How wonderful that your garden already has so many flowers in bloom. Ours has a lot of greenery, but hardly any flowers. Except for our Winter flowering Clematis, which has hundreds (really!) flowers in it. It's really incredible, and a sight for sore eyes, even on a the greyest of days! xxx
