All things bright and beautiful

I walked through the park on my way back home from church, my old favourite park, that I walked through every day before I moved, and there were some fabulous signs of beauty in nature there!

Spring, for me, is the very best of seasons.  All is new, fresh, with warmth but there is always more to come, the promise of Summer, the days are still getting longer.

I hope these make your heart glad like they did mine.

It was Pentecost today at church which was the day that God sent the Holy Spirit down onto his disciples.  I was there for the morning and evening services and it was a lovely set of services.  It's lovely to think that the Holy Spirit in you is God's way of being with you and making himself known to you.  I see his hand in each and every beautiful flower, bird, leaf and every droplet of water.

  1. I do prefer spring to summer too, as colours are still so fresh in spring, and the light is much better for photography. It can be quite harsh in summer. And there wouldn't be that many duckling around either. xxx
