Hide Clara, Hide

TARDIS Tuesday comes round again!

I'm trying to alternate between TARDIS Blue and inspiration from Who characters so this week I'm returning to New Who and using my beloved Clara Oswald as inspiration.

When I saw this outfit in 'Hide' I knew it would be one I could made a nod to as I've had this starry blue Mango dress for a good few years- it made it onto the blog about 4 years ago!

I had a navy knitted blazer cardie but it wasn't until I thrifted this Next blue blazer with Hazel and Sophie that I thought I should finally try to 'cosplay' it.  Yes, I know, the dress isn't exact but if you google 'Clara Cosplay Hide', you'll see a lot of dresses like mine!

The shoes are for Sunday best! (CBC says my shoes are better than Clara's!)  Clarks and the tights are true blue, thank you F21 for finding me a replacement for my school tights!

  5. Oh my, you've totally nailed 'Clara'! The alternated coloured trim on the bottom of the dress, just makes the dress. I love detail like that. Thanks for visiting me over at PetiteSilverVixen.

  8. I like both yours and her dress, each so pretty! Your hair is looking extra fantastic here and those shoes are cool! Of course I so enjoyed your lovely legs in those tights! I really appreciate the closer look at them. That shot was very very wonderful for me, dear :)) Wow! xoxo

  9. All kinds of "yasss!" to the entire ensemble! And quite frankly, I prefer your look far more than Clara's. 'Struth! She actually manages to look a bit too twee for my taste - it must be the waistline (or the lack thereof) on her dress. Yours feels a lot more tailored and profesh. :D

  15. Dear Kezzie, so Clara is super sweet and so are you! You look so beautiful, I loved this dress and jacket! Guess what, then I realized that I was also wearing blue - bag and shoes, and even a metallic kind of blue/green nail polish and I linked it to Tardis blue :) I loved your shoes, too!

  16. This has to be my favorite look of yours thus far, Kezzie! The silhouette of the blazer is so sleek, and I like the sweet polkadots on the dress. The shiny shoes and blossom background are the classiest finishing touches. I've never tried taking inspiration from T.V. characters, but I may have to keep my eyes peeled after this post!

  19. That is a fabulous photo of you! Love it!
Yeah...your shoe are much better and polished to a lovely shine. I am very impressed! I am a great fan of the Olsen twins, but oh my goodness, I wish they would give their shoes a lick of polish! (Or with their money, they could employ me to do it!!!!). Zxx
