You know you live in a cold house when you return home after 36 hours to discover your left the milk out of the fridge- and it is STILL fine, not gone off!
PARCELS!!!!!!!
I've had a rather lucky week in terms of postage! A parcel EVERY day!!!!
Monday: Uniglo parcel- I ordered my friend one of their new Heat-tech tops in the Orla Keily print. I also ordered myself one! BAD! I love my Hermes courier- she's soo nice, she always times it so I am in. It was gone 8pm when she arrived!
Tuesday: A parcel arrived from the lovely Char with my giveaway prize! Cannee believe that I won 2 giveaways in a week! It's my perfect item! A gorgeous Book clutch bag from Asos! Totally cool!
Wednesday: ASOS parcel arrived with a Christmas present for someone who shall remain nameless just in case they read this!
Thursday: My cracker-swap parcel arrived from my lovely swap-partner, Jille! I am staggered by the beauty of her handmade items. It always makes me feel ashamed how rubbish my hand-made items are. Doing a post on this tomorrow...
Friday: I won a gorgeous giveaway from Intrinsically Florrie- a unique knitted hat designed by Florrie made by someone for Innocent Smoothies! I love the fact that the second giveaway I won this week was a HAT!
Thanks to all three blogging ladies!
CATS: Speaking of parcels- I am, it seems, a bad influence (or a useful one, depending on your viewpoint) on one of my fellow teachers. After she admired my white cat-hat- asking me where I bought it, she went out and bought one for each of her daughters, along with matching gloves. On Tuesday, I was wearing my Joy Intarsia cat jumper and she said she'd love to buy one for her daughters. Unfortunately, on being directed to Joy, it was sold out, so I suggested Asos to her. She got a little lost on it, so I went and showed her the nicest jumpers and by 5pm, when I returned to her, on Tuesday, she had ordered 3 cat jumpers and a bunny jumper for her daughters. Because she had, ahem, spent £130, she got free postage and they were there by 12pm! Asos is very convenient!
DOGS AND QUIZZES: The other outfit shots are from last SAurday in which I am proudly wearing my new grey beret that a work colleague bought for me after I admired hers! Do you like my 'Christmas jumper'? Well, it's not, but it's that sort of ilk! It's funny, but it seems very tame after the massive surge in the Christmas jumper stocks in shops! They're everywhere! It doesn't seem quite so 'disgusting' as I've now seen more lurid/hideous varieties! (I say digusting jumper in an affectionate way!)
I last wore it on my blog when I gave my first VLOG!!!!!! I gave you a Christmas carol quiz! If you didn't attempt it last year, do go and try it! If nothing else, you get to laugh at what a muppet I am in real life!!!!
It's here: Kezzie's embarassing Christmas carol quiz vlog 2011
If you'd like to try some of my other quizzes, please ignore the latter half of the post in which I list the answers to my OTHER Christmas quizzes! It kept CBC's family occupied for several hours!

LIGHTS:
We all know I love a novelty necklace- here's the Binoculars necklace I bought at the school fair. It's accompanied by the gorgeous lights of Sloane Square which I took when I did my (by the way, fab!) concert at Holy Trinity Sloane Square, last week!
OH AND OBSERVATIONS: (yeh, didn't want to put that in the blog title to scare you off!)
I had an observation today! As a teacher, you have someone from SMT observing you each term to check the quality of your teaching. No matter how confident you feel about your teaching (or not), it is always terrifying! I was teaching Year 4- a lesson (though adapted every year to be slightly different) that I have taught for 4 years. Still was totally scared. Luckily, I had a lovely class, who really tried hard and managed to cooperate, work sensibly and share all sorts of their prior knowledge: I honestly LOVED the child, who when I asked them to think of the success criteria we needed for the lesson said- we needed to ensure we needed to choose an interesting texture- that was one of the focus words of last week! I think it went ok, not wonderful, though I was a little disappointed that it wasn't as good as I'd hoped. So glad she didn't observe the class who I did that lesson with afterwards- they didn't work very well with each other! It's funny (funny strange, not funny hilarious) but the first class revels in group work and get on with whoever you put them with but the second class bicker and don't gel together. It happens. Praise God she saw the first class!
Bet you wish I'd avoided all that waffle and done Friday letters! However, I felt like writing waffle today!
Tell me things!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
