Yay but ahrgh!

How exciting! I got a letter from the Institute of Education on Saturday inviting me for an interview on the 9th December! It's so soon! Little bit concerned as I was meant to be spending that week doing Work experience at a school, but I suppose at least I'll get 4 days in! It's very exciting, but now I'm frantically reading up all my old TES's to keep up on the debates and National Curriculum issues. I think I defo need to refer to Sarah's wonderful blog PGCE tips and make sure I'm up on all of those, though I have been trying to discuss some of these with teachers I know over the past couple of months. I've got to do a presentation on a recent lesson observation that I thought was successful. I think I'm going to talk about a particular very short numeracy time on basic fractions with Year 2, as that's the one that stuck in my mind most! Thanks so much for your help and please pray!
