I've been away! It's been great!! I am going away again!!! Is also great!! I haven't been here much!
Have been in Suffolk, Kent and Toroja in Spain. (the latter totally deficient in bright red large Britons- bliss!) All three locations excellent, providing worthy entertainment, spectacular cuisine, excellent company and highly recommended enjoyment factor. Details may follow in a future publication although personal lethargy factor currently too high to sustain detailed breakdown.
Legs remain stubbornly white despite my best attempts in Catalonian sunshine. Face, annoyingly enough, is now increasingly freckled. Legs (and other limbs) also bearing signs of overconsumption by greedy, guzzling, sneeky mosquitos.
Bank balance slightly worrying, have been unable to curb shopping appetite- disaster.
Related to above: wardrobe overload imminent: panic panic panic.
Sadness relating to return to school: Increasing. Current holiday balance is now 14 days. Heading towards time bankrupcy. Also spells worrying early indicators of work panic bonanza. Suggest all contact avoided around 1st September to avoid hysteria.
Excitement about upcoming days crammed full of wonderful music and happiness at seeing beloved friends: currently achieving a pleasant level.
Grumpiness about packing and washing clothes: surprisingly low. Current ambivalence HIGHLY suspicious. Suggest something wrong?
Happiness about lovely new holographic ballet pumps: a good average.
Current listening requirements: Wish to listen to Hairspray. Do not wish to listen to Elgar Symphony no.1 . Sadly neither cannot be avoided due to inavailability of the former and over-availability of latter! Compensated by looking forward to Shostakovitch 1 and Rachmaninov 2!
Current Piccolo status: doubled! new one is scrummy!
Book progress: Despite holiday, large quantity of reading entries surprisingly low. Some very very tacky books read, not to be repeated. Few of current entries on wish to reread list. Recommendations for numbers 79 and 80 though. Sensitively and beautifully written, especially the Ibbotson.
